JEFFERSON CITY—The Missouri State Senate gave approval today to a measure that could create hundreds of jobs for Missourians. It also includes various consumer protection provisions to address concerns held by some legislators. Senate Approves “Real ID Fix”


Measure Will Give Missourians the Option of Obtaining a Real ID-Compliant License

JEFFERSON CITY— The Senate gave approval this week to a measure that will allow Missourians the option of choosing a Real ID-complaint license. Without final passage of this bill, starting January 22, 2018, Missouri state driver’s licenses will no longer be accepted as identification to board a plane, whether domestic or international. Senate Approves Measure to Protect Services for 8,000 Missourians


Bill Creates the Missouri Senior Services Protection Fund

JEFFERSON CITY— The Missouri Senate this week approved House Committee Bill 3 that provides funds to restore some services for seniors and vulnerable citizens. Senate Leader Ron Richard, R-Joplin, said the funds will help provide services to about 8,000 elderly and disabled Missourians and will also restore about half of the proposed provider rate cut in the budget passed last week by the General Assembly.
