JEFFERSON CITY – The Missouri Senate approved a measure today that will reform the state’s century-old regulatory environment by capping rates and allowing for grid modernization. Senate Bill 564 will not only help make significant improvement to Missouri’s regulatory environment, it will also enable our infrastructure to be modernized under the current Public Service Commission (PSC) framework. Pre-Filing Begins

Jefferson City – On Friday, Dec. 1, senators began formally pre-filing legislation for the 2018 session. Once proofread and printed, a physical copy of each pre-filed bill will be available for the public to view. To view a list of legislation pre-filed for the upcoming legislative session, please visit – the 2018 Legislation tab on the Senate website. The list will be continually updated.

Missouri Senate and House to Develop Funding Solution for In-Home and Nursing Care for Disabled Missourians

JEFFERSON CITY— Senate Leader Ron Richard and House Speaker Todd Richardson announced today that their two chambers will work together to develop a funding solution that will preserve in-home and nursing care for more than 8,000 disabled Missourians.
